HOPE EXPLORERS
Hope Explorers is the name of our childrens ministry. We believe in Multigenerational Church, a place where those who are younger can get to know those older than them, learn from their experience and benefit from their support. Also for our older members to learn from and be encouraged by our children. We encourage everyone to chat together during our drinks time, we create space for children and adults to interact when we meet and make sure we have times in our gatherings that are accessible to all.
WEEK ONE
During Hope Breakfast there is colouring in available to do at the tables during the talk.
WEEK TWO
During Hope Talks the children will have their own age appropriate teaching during the talk and chat time. This is provided by a childrens worker with many years’ experience who is fully DBS checked. It is a fun time of learning with puppets, magic and story telling. We want to provide opportunity for everyone to carry on discussion at home and so the topic the children look at will be the same as the adults talk. The children will then join back into the main hall with the adults for the time of praise and worship which will include a mix of songs for all ages
WEEK THREE
During Hope Prayer & Praise the children will experience prayer through creative activities and find out how they can talk and listen to God. There is a childrens table in the main hall and everyone is encouraged to take part in the songs and prayer. We work together on a prayer activity towards the beginning of the session which we then share with the adults, praying creatively together.
