Prayer
Hope Church has started on a strong foundation of prayer and seeking God’s face for Newcastle Emlyn. Prayer will always be central to everything we do and we provide various opportunities to do this together in different ways.
ANNUAL PRAYER
We will have an annual prayer week, linking with Bethel Church Carmarthen as possible.
TERMLY PRAYER
Each term we have a prayer walk/drive around Newcastle Emlyn and the surrounding areas. We pray for our schools, shops, healthcare, emergency services, families and everyone who lives in this area.
MONTHLY PRAYER
Our week 3 service will include times of prayer as a church family.
WEEKLY PRAYER
Mondays @ 7.30pm via zoom – We meet on Zoom together with Bethel Church praying for Emlyn and its wider community and church family in Carmarthen.
Fridays @ 10:30am via what’s app – This is a led prayer time via the Hope Church Community prayer what's app group, a 15 minute time of prayer and reflection with prompts sent to lead people through from wherever they join. We know there are some who struggle with internet access for zoom and so having this alternative enables everyone to take part in the prayer life of Hope Church. Also people can meet in twos or threes to go through the prompts together, or catch up later if they miss the ‘live’ version.
